About the event

You are invited to a special fundraising dinner featuring presentations and a silent auction this year. The dinner will fund Corazón de Trinidad Creative District operations and events. The creative district's goal is to economically support local creative industries. Our mission is to assist local artists and arts organizations, host free events for the public, create an artist membership program, and provide membership benefits.

What is the itinerary for this special event?

  • 4:30 - 6:00 - Silent Auction and Quick Draw begins (Artists draw something live on a theme at the event). The creating artists will be Rich Alford, Ily Reiling, Paula Little, Frank LaLumia, Tracy Wahl, Ariel Rose (TSC Student), Mara Salbato (TSC Student), and Leilani Kulczyk (TSC Student
  • 5:30-6:30 - Cocktail hour with music by Jeff & Sam Montoya (Rosin & Rust)
  • 6:00 - Live Auction Quick Draw Art
  • 6:30 - 7:00 - Dinner
  • 7 - 7:15 - Featured Reader - Art Goodtimes
  • 7:15-7:45 - Keynote Speaker: Our Keynote Speaker will be an award-winning poet, syndicated newspaper columnist, and poet laureate of the Western Slope of Colorado, Wendy Videlock, who will discuss the importance of the arts--specifically poetry--in our public spaces, which includes our newspapers, our learning institutions, our medical and healing centers as well as our board meetings, graduations, funerals, and spiritual gatherings. Wendy will offer lots of inspiration on how to do that within our own communities. Wendy will also surprise and delight you with her observations on how each and every one of us can select our own teachers, mentors, and guiding stars --from which we learn to recognize precisely when to withhold and when to wield our words.)
  • 8pm - CD Board Presentation
  • Musical Performance by Stace Johnson
  • 9pm - Silent Auction comes to a close

A note regarding student tickets:

A Student is defined as anyone 18 and under or enrolled in college (including non-traditional students).
